Reacher Season 4
My review of Reacher Season 4 — a highly enjoyable continuation that delivers exactly the kind of entertainment I want from the series.

My Take
I really enjoyed Reacher Season 4. It delivers the kind of straightforward, entertaining viewing experience that makes it very easy for me to keep watching. For me, the appeal of Reacher has always been the combination of action, investigation and a central character who is extremely easy to follow. Season 4 continues that formula without making me feel that the show has forgotten what makes it entertaining in the first place.
The season follows Jack Reacher into another dangerous situation after a chance encounter on a Philadelphia subway draws him into a larger mystery. I found that setup easy to get behind because it gives the season an immediate reason to move forward while keeping Reacher at the centre of everything.
And honestly, that is what I wanted. I did not need Season 4 to completely reinvent Reacher. I wanted another entertaining season with action, investigation and the kind of momentum that makes you want to continue to the next episode. That is exactly what I got. One of the things I appreciate about this series is how uncomplicated the viewing experience can be. There is a clear central character, a clear threat and enough mystery to keep the story moving. It does not require me to overthink why I am watching it. I can simply sit down and enjoy it.
That does not mean the season is perfect or that I think it is radically different from what came before. It is not trying to become a completely different show, and I think that is actually part of its appeal. For me, Reacher Season 4 is a good example of a series understanding what its audience is there for and delivering it confidently.
Alan Ritchson continues to carry the show as Jack Reacher, while the season adds a new group of characters around him. The result is a season that feels like a continuation rather than a reset.
Who Should Watch It?
If you have enjoyed the earlier seasons of Reacher, I would absolutely put Season 4 on your watchlist. If you enjoy action-heavy thrillers with a straightforward central character and an ongoing mystery, it is also an easy recommendation. If you enjoy this kind of story, our mystery-thriller guide is a useful place to explore more.
The Verdict
Reacher Season 4 gave me exactly what I wanted from another season: action, investigation, momentum and a genuinely entertaining watch. I really enjoyed it, and that puts it firmly in my must-watch category. My Rating: 4.5/5 Verdict: Must-watch.
