Accused (2026): Cast, Story, Release Date & Where to Watch
Accused is a Hindi psychological drama built around uncertainty, public judgement and an allegation that threatens a woman’s professional and personal life. Netflix’s official title page describes a renowned gynaecologist whose career and marriage begin to unravel after serious allegations surface.
What is Accused about?
Dr. Geetika Sen is a respected gynaecologist whose carefully controlled life changes after allegations of sexual misconduct emerge at her workplace. Her wife, Dr. Meera, is left trying to understand what happened. The story therefore operates on two levels. There is the public question of what Geetika is accused of doing, and there is the private question of how much trust can survive when certainty disappears.
Netflix describes the film as psychological, suspenseful and slow-burn rather than a conventional crime thriller.

What makes the premise different?
The story is built around ambiguity. Instead of immediately telling the audience exactly what happened, it asks the viewer to examine the evidence, the people involved and their assumptions. That makes the film more dependent on character and performance than a thriller that simply races from clue to clue.
