Drishyam 3: Cast, Story, Runtime & Where to Watch

Drishyam 3 brings back one of Malayalam cinema’s most closely watched thriller families. Mohanlal returns as George Kutty, with Jeethu Joseph writing and directing.

What is Drishyam 3 about?

Years have passed since the events that changed George Kutty’s family. His life appears to have become normal again. He has even transformed his past into a successful film. But the past begins resurfacing. Two journalists investigate the real-life events behind George Kutty’s movie, while a marriage proposal involving his daughter Anju becomes another source of danger.

The result is another conflict built around information, suspicion and the consequences of decisions made years earlier.

Where can you watch Drishyam 3?

Drishyam 3 is streaming on Prime Video. The original language is Malayalam, with dubbed versions including Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

Should you watch the earlier films first?

Yes. The third film depends heavily on the history of George Kutty and his family. Understanding the previous films is particularly important here because the new story is built around consequences that have accumulated over time.

Why the franchise remains interesting

The Drishyam films have never been driven solely by the question of what happened. They are also about what people do after something happens. Once a family builds its life around a secret, every later discovery becomes dangerous. That is the foundation the third film inherits. A complete review should assess whether this new chapter expands that idea rather than simply extending the franchise.
