South Indian OTT Releases in October 2026

A practical guide to notable Tamil and South Indian streaming releases arriving in October 2026.

South Indian OTT Releases in October 2026

October’s streaming calendar includes several South Indian titles alongside the larger Hindi and international OTT slate.

Sardar 2

The Karthi-led Tamil action thriller is currently reported for Prime Video from October 1.

#Love

Netflix lists the Tamil series #Love for October 2, with Aishwarya Lekshmi and Arjun Das in the cast.

Why the regional OTT calendar matters

South Indian cinema is not one single market. Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada industries have distinct production systems, stars and audiences. Streaming has made those films easier to discover across India, but release information still needs to be checked title by title.
