Farzi Café, Delhi
My review of Farzi Café in Delhi — a lively place with good food, drinks and a crowd that makes it a fun evening out.

Farzi Café, Delhi Review
My Take
Farzi Café has its own charm in much the same way Olive does, although the experience is different. The food is good, the drinks are enjoyable and there is usually enough energy around the place to make it feel like a proper night out. It works especially well when the objective is to spend time with friends or have a relaxed evening rather than sit down for a highly formal fine-dining meal.
I wouldn’t call the food extraordinary, though. Farzi’s presentation and concept can create expectations that are higher than what the actual meal necessarily delivers. For me, the experience is more about the combination of food, drinks, atmosphere and crowd. That’s still a strong proposition. A 4/5 feels right because I would happily go back for the overall experience. I just wouldn’t sell it as one of Delhi’s culinary destinations where the food alone is the reason to visit.
What Stood Out
Good food, drinks, energy and a decent crowd make Farzi a reliable evening-out choice.
Who Should Go
Friends, couples and diners looking for a lively modern-Indian café-bar experience.
Verdict
4/5 — A fun, stylish place to hang out. Good rather than extraordinary — and that’s perfectly fine.
