Call Me Bae Season 2: Cast, Story & What We Know
Call Me Bae is returning for a second season with Ananya Panday back in the title role. Prime Video included the series in its 2026 India slate.
What is Call Me Bae about?
The first season followed Bella “Bae” Chowdhary after a dramatic change in her privileged life forced her to build a new identity and career in Mumbai. The show combines comedy, romance, friendship and social observation.
What is confirmed about Season 2?
Prime Video has confirmed Season 2 with Ananya Panday returning. The announcement also lists Vir Das and Shruti Hasan among the returning cast. A full Season 2 plot has not been published in the initial slate information.
Why the second season can move the character forward
The first season was built around Bae learning how to live without the security she had always taken for granted. A second season has a different job. The character already knows how unstable her old world was. The challenge now is seeing what she does with the independence she gained.
Release information
Season 2 is part of Prime Video India’s 2026 slate. Prime Video’s official listing should be used for the final premiere date.
Where will Call Me Bae Season 2 stream?
The new season is coming to Prime Video.
What should returning viewers know?
This is a continuing character story rather than a reset. Watching Season 1 first will provide the context for Bae’s friendships, career and personal relationships.
