Dahaad Season 2: Cast, Story & What We Know
Dahaad is returning for Season 2 with Sonakshi Sinha back as Sub-Inspector Anjali Meghwal. Prime Video included the crime thriller in its 2026 India lineup.
What is Dahaad?
The first season followed a police investigation into the disappearance of women in a Rajasthan town. The story gradually revealed a serial-killer investigation beneath what initially appeared to be a series of ordinary missing-person cases.
What is confirmed about Season 2?
Prime Video has confirmed the return of the series and Sonakshi Sinha. The initial 2026 slate does not provide enough detail to responsibly publish a full Season 2 synopsis. That distinction matters because returning a character does not automatically confirm a particular plot.
Why Season 2 has an interesting challenge
The first season’s central investigation was structured around discovery. A second season cannot simply repeat the same mystery with different names. It has to find a new case while preserving the investigative identity of the series. Anjali Meghwal is therefore the most important continuity point. The new story needs to give her something worth investigating while allowing the character to develop.
Release information
Season 2 is part of Prime Video India’s 2026 slate. A definitive release date should be taken from Prime Video’s current official listing when published.
Where will Dahaad Season 2 stream?
The season is coming to Prime Video.
Should you watch Season 1 first?
Yes. The first season establishes Anjali’s investigative style and the world in which the character operates. A future review of Season 2 will assess the new season on its own terms while considering that history.
