Korean Kanakaraju is a Telugu horror-comedy starring Varun Tej, Ritika Nayak and Satya Akkala. The premise combines a supernatural possession with a family problem and a mystery involving a dead spirit.
What is Korean Kanakaraju about?
Kanakaraju becomes possessed by a Korean spirit. He then has to deal with an entirely new supernatural identity while trying to protect his family and solve the spirit’s murder. That gives the movie three overlapping story engines:
- supernatural possession
- family protection
- a murder mystery

Where can you watch Korean Kanakaraju?
The movie has an official Netflix title page. Netflix currently provides the relevant catalogue and language information.
What makes the premise unusual?
Possession stories normally ask what happens when a person loses control over their own body. Korean Kanakaraju adds another layer. The possessed character has to understand the spirit inhabiting him while also solving the mystery surrounding that spirit. That creates a natural reason for comedy and horror to coexist.
The challenge for the finished film is whether those tonal shifts feel intentional.
