My Take
EL’Olivo is a decent pizza place with a good menu. The experience isn’t bad, and there are enough choices to make it a perfectly reasonable option if you’re nearby or simply in the mood for pizza. The problem is that Ahmedabad has better Italian options. For me, that makes a difference. A restaurant doesn’t have to be bad to be avoidable; sometimes it simply doesn’t offer enough of a reason to choose it when stronger alternatives exist.
EL’Olivo sits in that category. I didn’t have a terrible experience and there are things to like about the menu, but nothing stood out enough for me to want to make this a regular destination. If you’re already nearby, it’s worth considering. If you’re deliberately looking for the best Italian food in Ahmedabad, however, I would look elsewhere.
