The Revolutionaries: Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf Series — Story, Cast & What We Know
The Revolutionaries is one of the most ambitious new Prime Video India originals announced for 2026. The young-adult action-adventure is set against India’s freedom struggle.
What is The Revolutionaries about?
Prime Video describes the project as a young-adult action-adventure centred on young people involved in India’s fight for independence. The story combines the historical setting with an ensemble-driven adventure. The title is therefore positioned differently from a conventional period political drama.
Cast
The announced cast includes:
- Bhuvan Bam
- Rohit Saraf
- Pratibha Ranta
- Gurfateh Pirzada
Who is making it?
The series is part of Prime Video’s 2026 original slate. The project is among the major titles announced through Prime Video Presents 2026.
Why the historical setting matters
Stories about the freedom struggle can become overly familiar if they focus only on famous historical figures. A young-adult ensemble offers another possible perspective: ordinary young people encountering political upheaval and deciding what they are willing to risk. That makes the relationship between history and character especially important.

Prime Video has announced The Revolutionaries for 2026. The initial slate announcement does not provide a definitive public release date.
